Bergen Bible School is a one-year discipleship training course to equip Christians for the service of God in their own lives, family, church and community. Through teaching, mentoring and practice we aim to provide you with a solid foundation for you to build upon. Who are we?

Who are we?

Bergen Bible School is located in Bergen and is run by Kristent Nettverk in close cooperation with the Christian Fellowship Bergen. The school is led by Runar Gjertsen, the headmaster, who together with his staff står is responsible for the daily running of the school. Many of the regular teachers you meet at Bergen Bible School work together in Kristent Nettverk; in addition we have guest teachers from all over the world.

Background and history

Bergen Bible School was promoted and started in 1990 by Noralv Askeland and Erling Thu. Their desire was to equip Christian leaders and church workers and to equip people for the service of God in their own lives and families, in their churches and in society as a whole. The World will never be the same!
