Times and deadlines

We enroll new students for 2024/2025 on a continual basis. Applications may be sent from 1st October 2023. The School year starts on Wednesday, 14th August at 9.00 a.m.

Location

Bergen Bible School is located at Kanalveien 66 in Minde, five minutes from the city center. The nearest bus or railway stop is Wergeland. Classes are held in new, bright and pleasant surroundings.

Enrollment requirements

You must have completed compulsory school or equivalent education.

Accommodation

The school does not offer accommodation, but we are happy to assist you by providing suggestions and contacts.

Part-time Jobs

Some students wish to have part-time jobs during their studies. This is permissible but will take careful planning. The School day is from 08:30 to 14:30, Mondays to Fridays. No teaching is held during practice weeks.

Tuition fees

The school fees are 10,000 NOK - per semester (half-year). This includes several stays at Gullbotn holiday center, and domestic practice. Modules / Books: Kr. 3500, - (optional) Students from abroad must see if scholarships or loans are available in their home country. Students resident in Norway will find that a year at Bergen Bible School normally means they can obtain a loan and/or stipend at laanekassen.no

Study Practice

Each spring, the school sends teams abroad. You may choose between the Philippines (for three or for eight weeks), or Bolivia for three weeks. This provides a unique opportunity to combine a year at Bible School with active missionary work. Foreign practice requires an additional fee of NOK 25,000 to 30,000 NOK, - dependant on exchange rates and ticket prices. (the 8-week stay may cost more). Read more

Diploma

Students will receive a diploma on completion of their year, detailing the subjects that have been completed and the grades.
